PHILADELPHIA Eagles cornerback Darius Slay was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice as the team prepares for its Week 16 matchup against the Cowboys.
Slay missed the loss at the Cardinals in Week 15 because he did not pass the concussion protocol. He suffered a concussion in the win over the Saints in Week 14.

For a large part of the 2020 season, Eagles football has not been fun. After an impressive 27 minutes in the first half of the Redskins game in week 1, it all seemed to go downhill immediately after Wentz threw that pick before halftime. Fans were tricked into thinking they found a hidden gem in Travis Fulgham from weeks weeks 3-5 (where we went 1-2), but that excitement was shortly lived as Fulgham proved to be inconsistent, invisible and mediocre since then.

Eagles special teams coordinator Dave Fipp looked directly into a camera at the NovaCare Complex and told the reporters Tuesday that he took responsibility for the unit’s issues in Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
It’s a statement that Fipp has made multiple times this season. Fipp saw the special teams this past Sunday allow a blocked punt, a fake-punt pass that went for a first down, a low snap that resulted in a failed extra-point attempt.

Quarterbacks (out of 83 offensive snaps): Jalen Hurts (83), Carson Wentz (DNP), Nate Sudfeld (inactive).
Analysis: Hurts threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns and added 63 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. He looked good, and he’ll get another chance to start at the Cowboys in Week 16. He’s given the Eagles the spark that coach Doug Pederson said he wanted to see from the rookie.
