At least four people have been charged under the Reopening Ontario Act as a result of an anti-lockdown demonstration and march in downtown Windsor on Sunday, say police.
“Further charges under the Reopening Ontario Act are being considered as additional individuals are identified,” the Windsor Police Service added in a statement Monday.

The charges came after dozens of people assembled at the Great Canadian Flag on Windsor’s riverfront, then marched on Ouellette Avenue in defiance of provincial rules on gatherings. Windsor police also noted that two tickets were issued due to violations of Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act.
