Matt Olson blasted his 27th home run of the season on Sunday, but it wasn t enough to propel the A s past the Mariners. Olson smacked a Marco Gonzales offering for a 395-foot solo shot in the third inning, extending the A s early lead to 2-0. He also singled in the contest, finishing the afternoon 2-for-4. The All-Star first baseman is having a tremendous season at the plate, slashing .287/.373/.588 with the aforementioned 27 bombs and 66 RBI.
