Free parking and Darb Toll dates in Abu Dhabi for Eid al Fitr
And timing updates for buses, ferries and Customer Happiness Centres…
In line with the well-established tradition of free parking over public holidays in Abu Dhabi, charges will not be collected at Mawaqif outdoor parking bays over the festive period.
Last week the Federal Authority For Government Human Resources – UAE (FAHR) announced Eid al-Fitr holidays for the public sector would extend from Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation then added that this will also apply to the private sector.
Eid will begin on Tuesday, May 11 and depending on moon sighting will likely last until Friday, May 14 or Saturday, May 15 (depending on the moon).
Sharjah Municipality announces free parking during Eid holidays

The Sharjah Municipality on Monday announced that public parkings in the emirate will be exempted from fees during the period from Shawwal 1 to Shawwal 3 (the first, second and third days of Eid Al Fitr).
However, public parking spaces subject to fees throughout the week and official holidays, which can be identified through the indicative panels,are excluded from the Eid offer.
A day earlier Abu Dhabi has also announced that surface parking bays will be free of charge during the holiday starting from Tuesday, May 11, 2021 until the end of the official holiday (29 Ramdan until 3 Shawwal 1442 Hijri). Additionally, Mussafah Industrial area parking lot M18 will be free of charge during the holiday.

Abu Dhabi s Integrated Transport Centre announces services schedule during Eid Al Fitr
ABU DHABI, 9th May 2021 (WAM) - Out of its keenness to keep the public updated in regards to its services during Eid Al Fitr official holiday, the Integrated Transport Centre of Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi announced its Customer’s Happiness Center’s working hours, MAWAQiF and Darb Toll Gate System implementation timings, buses and ferries schedule during Eid Al Fitr official holiday.
All Customer’s Happiness Centers will be closed during starting from Tuesday, May 11, 2021 and will resume working on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Customers may continue to use ITC’s website: www.itc.gov.ae, Darbi app, Darb app and call 80088888 or 600535353 to request for services 24/7.
