On the penultimate day of 2020 the Teton Board of County Commissioners signed off on the vacation of the old Packsaddle Road and the dedication of its replacement, wrapping up a conversation that started in 2014.
âDoes anyone have the champagne?â asked attorney Sean Moulton after the final approval during a special meeting on Dec. 30. Moulton represented the property owners in the contract negotiations with the county.
The former Packsaddle Road west of N9000W was in substandard condition and included Kayâs Hill, the precipitous eroded doubletrack that rises above Kayâs Dairy and reaches grades of 19 percent (nine more than the countyâs accepted maximum), and in the past often stranded hapless motorists, to the consternation of nearby residents and ranchers. After months of preliminary discussions in 2014 and 2015, the owners of Ag Rim and Grandview Ranch applied to reroute and rebuild Packsaddle to provide better access to ten large ranches to be developed

The Buffalo Bills are resting a few key defensive starters heading into the postseason.
Buffalo announced their Week 17 inactive list on Sunday morning and three key defensive starters, Tre’Davious White, Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison, were among the players who will not suit up against the Miami Dolphins.
Smith, a Westown resident, has led the NWSCDC since January, replacing longtime executive director
Howard Snyder. Smith has been with the organization since 2013, having previously served as its director of housing and director of lending. He held a variety of real estate finance positions before joining the non-profit according to a resume submitted to the council.
Smith is also a graduate of LISC Milwaukee’s highly-regarded Associates in Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) program that trains women and minorities for careers in real estate in partnership with local universities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cardinal Stritch University.

The Buffalo Bills released their inactives for tonight’s Monday night matchup against the New England Patriots.
Buffalo announced that Jake Fromm, Davis Webb, Reggie Gilliam and Trent Murphy would be inactive for tonight’s game.
Gilliam was ruled out this weekend with a knee and hamstring injury.
