Ocean County Man Pleads Guilty to Running Over Geese A man from Ocean County has pleaded guilty to running over five geese back in 2019. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer says 22-year-old Quintin Alec-Manning of Brick Township pleaded guilty to an animal cruelty charge on Monday. When Alec-Manning is sentenced on May 5th, the State will be seeking a term of 90 days in the Ocean County Jail as a condition of probation, community service, and an order prohibiting him from owning or working with animals in the future. Billhimer s office says, On May 29, 2019, officers from the Toms River Township Police Department were notified that a motor vehicle struck a family of five geese in the parking lot of the Indian Head Plaza in Toms River, causing their death. A subsequent investigation by the Toms River Police Department identified Alec-Manning as the individual who purposely hit the geese with his motor vehicle. Millville NJ man sought in knife attack on woman at Toms River hotel

Carles Bryant, 34, remains at large. Toms River police officers went to the Howard Johnson about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call about a fight between a man and a woman in the lobby. Billhimer said in a statement. Medics rushed the woman to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where she remains in stable but critical condition, the prosecutor said. Bryant was identified and charged on Wednesday. He also drew weapons offenses and a contempt charge in the attack.

Man wanted for Attempted Murder at Toms River hotel

A Millville man is wanted back here in Toms River and Ocean County for the attempted murder of a woman that occurred at the Howard Johnson hotel on Hooper Avenue near Route 37 last week. She was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she remains in critical but stable condition. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and the Toms River Police Detective Bureau began an investigation which led them identifying 34-year old Carles Bryant as the man responsible for the attack.
