We’ve been bringing you the story of the media building that Israel leveled because the media were sharing it with Hamas. It’s become quite a saga all on its own.
As we wrote yesterday, the Jerusalem Post reported that the Israelis had shared the intelligence on Hamas being in the building with the U.S. and Biden officials.
Israel shared intelligence with the US showing how Hamas operated inside the same building with the Associated Press and Al-Jazeera in Gaza, officials in Jerusalem said on Sunday.
Officials in more than one government office confirmed that US President Joe Biden’s phone call to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday was, in part, about the bombing of the building, and that Israel showed Biden and American officials the intelligence behind the action.

An office building destroyed by Israeli airstrikes on Saturday was reportedly used by the Associated Press and the Islamic terrorist group Hamas. According to national security expert Noah Pollak, the building contained several Hamas facilities, including weapons manufacturing and military intelligence units, and the AP journalists were aware of the terrorist activities. Spoke to a well-placed friend in the IDF just now, Pollak wrote on Twitter. The bombed AP office building contained multiple Hamas operations & offices including weapons manufacturing and military intelligence. The building also housed an Islamic Jihad office. And AP s local reporters knew about it.
It seems a fairly simple thing to understand.
If terrorists are firing on you and trying to obliterate you, you respond and take them out. If they try to use civilians as cover, you try to avoid the civilians, but you still have the right of self-defense.
Israel gave the media organizations warning and time to get out, so no one was hurt. But they had the right to take out the terrorists.
So, what was the response of the “Obama bros,” former Obama Administration officials Ben Rhodes and Tommy Vietor? Did they come to the support of Israel or say they had the right to respond to the terrorists by hitting the building? Nope.
