Keagan Latham returns to the scene of his first Sydney Saturday metropolitan winner on Tuesday eager to keep the ball rolling on a season that has been career defining for the South African rider.
Latham has ridden all over the world; England, Ireland, France, Hong Kong, South Africa of course and has Group 1 wins in Dubai and Mauritius.
With 88 days left in the 2020/21, Latham leads the Provincial Jockey Premiership by nine wins, 50 to 41, ahead of his closest challenger Tommy Berry.

The Championships 2021 closed with a truly world class performance by UK raider Addeybb in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
Addeybb, racing in blinkers for the first time proved too strong for Australia’s best Group 1 performer Verry Elleegant.
Verry Elleegant’s trainer Chris Waller won two of the four Group 1s contested on the day with Hungry Heart winning the Australian Oaks and Selino giving former champion Sydney apprentice Ronnie Stewart his first Australian Group 1 victory in the Sydney Cup.
Last year’s Doncaster Mile winner Nettoyer won her second Randwick Group 1 mile when knocking off the hot favourite Probabeel in the Queen Of The Turf.

Wendy Roche will be popping the champagne after Nettoyer s Queen Of The Turf Stakes win
Wendy Roche will be popping the champagne after Nettoyer’s Queen Of The Turf Stakes victory at Randwick but it won’t be the trainer enjoying a tipple.
Nettoyer is famous for her unorthodox diet of pizza and bubbles and she will get both after scoring her second G1 victory, 12 months after winning the Doncaster Mile over the same course and distance.
“I think the pizza’s on order and she’s already got pink champagne because we thought she would go close. She can have whatever she wants,” Roche said.

The upsets kept coming at Royal Randwick on Saturday as Wendy Roche’s pizza eating mare Nettoyer took out the Queen of the Turf Stakes (1600m) as a $26.00 shot.
Much like her win last year in the Doncaster, the daughter of Sebring wound up from well back in the field to pinch a win from Probabeel to claim her second Group 1 right on the line.
