On June 1st 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono recorded Give Peace A Chance in a Montreal hotel room, during their infamous bed-in. It was the first solo single issued by Lennon, released when he was still a member of the Beatles, and became an anthem of the American anti-war movement during the 1970s. Sadly, the lyrics still ring true 52 years later. Scroll down to see the lyrics and sing along.
