Jonathan Haidt has become one of the thinkers I make a point of listening to when he speaks or writes.
Like the late Christopher Hitchens and Charles Krauthammer two thinkers I often disagreed with but deeply respected I may not always agree with Haidt, a social psychologist and professor at New York University. The Massachusetts Audubon Society has long managed its land in western Massachusetts as crucial wildlife habitat. Nature lovers flock to these forests to enjoy bird-watching and quiet hikes, with the occasional bobcat or moose sighting.
