New England Patriots News 01-24, AFC East Notes
Steve Balestrieri
Good morning, here is your
Sunday Patriots news 01-24 and AFC East notes this week.
There is a lot of people wishing Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski well in the NFC Championship Game in Green Bay. And there are about the same amount hoping the Packers roll over the Bucs.
We’re not taking the cheese on telling fans how they should feel, unlike other media and fan types that play “You’re not a fan of the Patriots if you don’t ….” yada, yada. I would personally love to see Brady and the Bucs play Buffalo in the Super Bowl. Although I am pretty positive the league would probably rather see the other two teams.
NFL Fans Are Having Problems With CBS This Afternoon

Tony Romo and Jim Nantz on CBS.
Arguably the most-intriguing game of the NFL weekend has kicked off on CBS – for some of us, anyway.
The No. 1-seeded Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Cleveland Browns at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The AFC Divisional Round playoff game just kicked off at the top of the hour.
The contest between the Chiefs and the Browns is airing on CBS. Unfortunately, some cable providers appear to be having issues with the CBS channel at the moment.
Many viewers have taken to social media to complain about the problem with the CBS channel just as the Chiefs vs. Browns game has kicked off.

I have no idea how many kids had crushes on Tiffani Thiessen and her
Saved By The Bell character Kelly Kapowski when they were growing up, but whatever the answer is, itâs definitely not a small number. I had a crush on her. Several of my friends had crushes on her. Random celebrities have admitted they had crushes on her. For a certain age group interested in women, there was no one more appealing, and it turns out she was well aware of how we all felt.
Tiffani Thiessen stopped by Barstoolâs Pardon My Take podcast last month, and the topic of her numerous admirers came up. Host Dan Katz talked about having a crush on her, which many celebrities have admitted in the past including Justin Bieber. He asked how aware she was of the interest, and it turns out she was very aware, or at least she was after she stated doing live appearances. Hereâs what she had to sayâ¦

Suburban restaurant owners, some of whom were already struggling to stay afloat, believe that Pennsylvania’s latest round of coronavirus mitigation efforts just might be the thing that sinks them.
Several whose restaurants are in Jenkintown’s business district in Montgomery County talked about their worries. Some were angry.
“If you own a restaurant or anything food-related, good luck. Good luck in 2021, I wish you the best. My heart goes out to you. I’m in the same boat,” said Bruce Alfero, owner of Forcella BYOB in Jenkintown, Montgomery County.
