Barbara San Martin, 42, of New York, New York, was charged with DWI, assault by auto, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
On Saturday, at approximately 12:16 a.m., Officers Michael Straten and Marvin DeJesus responded to the area of 100 Marshall St. on a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. It was also reported that the motor vehicle had left the scene of the accident.
Upon arrival,Straten spoke to the victim who reported the following: as she was loading her skies through the driver’s side of her vehicle, a car traveling south on Marshall Street collided into her skies, pinning her between the skies and the car door. The vehicle did not stop and kept traveling.

Deveon Palms 19, and a 17-year-old male, both from Jersey City, were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and eluding, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
On Wednesday at approximately 8:19 p.m., a Grubhub delivery man reported his vehicle stolen.
The victim explained that he was picking up a delivery in the area of 1st and Washington Streets and left his vehicle running and unattended. Then when he returned, his vehicle was gone.
Police Officers Damien Bates, Tyrone Huggins and James Barbro responded to the victim and provided a description of the stolen vehicle. Moments later, Police Officer Francis McCourt located the vehicle traveling westbound in the area of Newark and Harrison Streets.

Mathew Laneve, 31, of New York, New York, was charged with three drug charges each for possession of meth and Gamma-hydroxybutyrate with intent to distribute near a public park and school, as well as possession of Oxycodone, drug paraphernalia, and uttering forged documents, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
On Wednesday, January 20th, at about 9:56 p.m., Sgt. Luke Zeszotarski and Officer Arturo Gonzalez were dispatched to meet the owner of a vehicle, who rents cars through the phone app Getaround, who found illegal drugs inside the vehicle.
On the aforementioned date, the vehicle was towed by Getaround from New York City to Hoboken since they believed the vehicle was left abandoned.

Jared Mullin, 22, of Jackson, was charged with aggravated assault, obstruction of administration of law, escape, and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
On Sunday at approximately 10:01 p.m., Police Officer Francis McCourt was approached in the area of 70 Hudson St. and was informed of an injured person lying on the ground in the area of River Street and Hudson Place.
Upon arrival, McCourt found the injured person standing in the street and he appeared dazed, unsteady on his feet, and had a large contusion on his forehead.
Hoboken man charged with string of burglaries after shoplifting arrest

A Hoboken burglar who struck at least five times since November is in jail after he was arrested in a shoplifting incident Sunday, police say.
Ronald Crawford, 62, was trying to flee from a drug store on Washington Street at 8:37 a.m. Sunday with several concealed items that he did not pay for, Hoboken Lt. Danilo Cabrera said. Crawford was stopped inside the store until Police Officers Anthony Olivera and Anthony Hochstadter responded to arrest him on shoplifting and hindering charges.
At the time of his arrest, Crawford was wanted by Hoboken police in connection with multiple burglaries and theft after an investigation by Detectives Bret Globke, Luis Rodriguez, Connor Milne and Fabien Quinones.
