Paget Berry is talking life after splitting from fiancee Ciara Duggan and a possible return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
The first mate has kept a pretty low profile since appearing on Season 1 of the hit Bravo show, alongside his then-girlfriend Ciara. Although they got engaged last summer, both Paget and Ciara confirmed they had gone their separate ways in April.
They even managed to keep their break-up quiet for months. It was through comments on their social media posts that fans learned Ciara and Paget were over. The former couple never made an official announcement and didn’t offer any details.
At the end of the May 17 episode, JL told Dani that he suspected that he might have an STD, which was obviously very distressing news to the stew, as you can see in the above clip. Dani then told her superior, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, that she wanted to leave
Parsifal III and go home.
In the next episode, which aired on May 24, Dani did not leave the crew and stayed on the boat at the encouragement of Daisy, who told the stew that they would have a conversation after the lunch service. Daisy also advised Dani to talk to JL.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap: Pretty Petty Princesses
When it comes to the larger
Below Deck universe, does anyone out there actually care all that much about drama between guests? That’s the question I kept returning to as I watched this week’s episode of
Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Sure, it makes for good TV when they’re particularly obnoxious or memorable. (Think the Drewitt-Barlow family from earlier this season.) Or when they’re making things miserable for the crew with their wild antics. (I.e. Deloris going overboard for a midnight swim on last season of Below Deck.) But when the guests are busy fighting amongst themselves, I tend to check out. It’s just not that interesting in the context of the story any iteration of Below Deck is telling.
