Dana Hutchings unfortunately lost his life during a taco eating contest that was taking place during a Grizzlies game in Fresno. Chuckchansi Park is where the Grizzlies play and apparently this event was apart of the activities for that days game.
The family of Hutchings is telling media that they were not informed of the risks and dangers of taking part in the contest and are suing the Grizzlies and Fresno events and sports for in undisclosed amount.
Man, horrible story and a horrible way to have to leave your family. If the Grizzlies did not have the contestants sign waivers stating that there were dangers to participating in the event, they are for sure going to have to pay this family out!!
