A former employee at a hotel restaurant that s connected to the Oneida Casino in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has been identified as the shooter who killed two people and injured a third on Saturday, before he was shot dead by police.
Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain at a news conference Monday identified the shooter as Bruce K. Pofahl, 62, a former employee at the Duck Creek Kitchen and Bar in the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.
According to court records, Brown County Court Commissioner Phoebe Mix granted a temporary restraining order against Pofahl on March 9 on behalf of a restaurant employee who previously supervised Pofahl. The employee, in documents filed that month, said Pofahl sent her threatening text messages and emails over the course of a few weeks that included pictures of her home and threats against her family.
Pofahl made comments like time s up in the messages, according to the employee. She said the behavior continued even after police contacted him multiple times. Hotel staff were also aware of the situation and shared her concerns.

MADISON, Wis. A man who shot and killed two people and wounded a third at a northeastern Wisconsin tribal casino restaurant had been fired from the eatery and ordered by a court to leave his former supervisor alone, according to court records.

ASHWAUBENON, Wisc. â Officials with the Brown County Sheriffâs Department Monday identified the gunman and victims involved in a deadly shooting at a Green Bay-area casino and resort complex on Saturday.
According to Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain, the gunman entered the Duck Creek Kitchen + Bar at the Oneida Casino on Saturday night, fatally shooting two people at a waiterâs station in front of 50 customers. The suspect then moved to another part of the resort and shot another employee of the restaurant.
