New Pokemon Snap, now as a grown-up, world-famous photographer. Todd returns as a mentor to both the player character and his rival Phil and gives players various photography tips throughout the game. Todd also provides a number of Research Requests that can be completed to unlock various decorative stickers for your photos.

With 151,000 copies sold in North America alone on release day and a total lifetime sales of 3.63 million, Pokémon Snap! was – and still is – a fan favourite and the 11th highest selling Nintendo 64 game. There’s been calls for a sequel for the last 22 year, but it’s only now that Nintendo are finally granting Pokéfans’ wishes with ‘New Pokémon Snap’ releasing 30th April 2021.

The original Pokémon Snap, released in 1999, featured a young photographer (Todd Snap) taking photos of more than 60 Pokémon types with cameras of the time. Released on Nintendo 64, the game charmed players with its focus on photography and impressing Professor Oak with skillful snapshots. New Pokémon Snap, set for release on April 30 on the Nintendo Switch, brings that formula into the smartphone era. Players can photograph more than 200 Pokémon, earn ratings from Professor Mirror and share favorite moments with friends.
