SALT LAKE CITY BYU s wide-open style it displayed last season on offense has contributed to the Cougars adding significant talent via the transfer portal.
Samson Nacua and his younger brother, Puka, announced Monday they plan to join Kalani Sitake s program after transferring from Utah and Washington, respectively. A major reason: BYU wants to throw the football down field to its wideouts.
Despite having good intentions, the hard truth shows the two Pac-12 programs don t go vertical nearly as much to the liking of the Nacua brothers. With time running out on their college careers, they want a chance to better highlight their skills.
With only nine days before the opening of free agency, it seemed like the right time to write a primer on what’s ahead for George Paton. With an injury-marred, 5-11 season in the rearview and Patrick Mahomes between them and the playoffs, the Broncos have their work cut out for them this off-season.

NFL Cap Situation
As I write this, we still don’t know the official cap ceiling, though I suspect that changes this week. We do know that the cap ceiling can not be lower than $180 million and that it’d be a significant decline from 2020’s $198.2 million.

Report: Colts Will Meet Virtually with BYU WR Dax Milne Prior to the NFL Draft
Dax Milne prior to the 2021 NFL Draft:
One guy I want to talk about is BYU s Dax Milne. While watching Zach Wilson, it was Milne who came down with a lot of those big plays (70-1188-8 in 2020).
The 6’1”, 190 pound junior wideout caught 70 receptions for 1,188 receiving yards (17.0 ypr. avg.) and 8 touchdown receptions during 12 starts for the Cougars this past season.
Milne was quarterback
Zach Wilson’s favorite target for BYU (who’s a projected Top 5 NFL Draft pick) and the two were also college roommates sharing a connection both on and off the field.
