Chief of Defence Force of the Maldives calls on Army chief

Chief of Defence Force of the Maldives Major General Abdulla Shamaal has called on Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday.
During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed various issues related to the existing good relations between the armed forces of the two countries and mutual cooperation in the future.
The talks focused on conducting joint training with the participation of the two armies, exchanging expertise on defense, mutual defense cooperation, goodwill visits and providing medical assistance to combat the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic.

Kuril left in the dark
Lack of lights on flyover, adjacent areas puts commuters at risk of accidents, being mugged
Lights from faraway landmarks and vehicles passing by are the only reasons Kuril looks somewhat visible from afar after dusk. Everyday commuters need to have eyes in the back of their heads to avoid getting mugged, harassed or hit by a large vehicle.
