The Taunton Independent Market returned to the town centre on Sunday in phenomenal style according to organisers. .
It is the first time this year that the market was able to run after Covid restrictions previously prevented the event from going ahead.

The first Taunton Independent Market was held on March 8, 2020
On Sunday, March 8, 2020, Taunton Independent Market launched for the first time ever, with 7,500 visitors attending the event on Castle Green.
Marcus Trescothick officially opened the event by cutting the red ribbon.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the market ran events in March, September, October and December and is looking forward to starting back up again soon.
The first market saw 70 different stalls set up with local businesses and independent traders from across the South West showcasing their artisan and quality products.
