Union: Atlanta police officers frustrated by low manpower problem By FOX 5 Digital Team Published  The Atlanta Police Union says the already low manpower situation in the city has worsened. ATLANTA - Atlanta Police Union officials say the city s already low manpower situation has worsened as more police officers turn in their badges. Multiple sources inside the Atlanta Police Department and City Hall tell FOX 5 that police supervisors have had to deny days off to officers just during the workweek. Atlanta cannot graduate police recruits quickly enough to stem the number of officers leaving another 15 exiting in December.  APD is slated for right at 2,000 men and women. I don t know the exact number, but what I do know is it s under 1,600, Atlanta Police Union Director Vince Champion said.

Southwestern adds marketing VP | Nashville Post

Southwestern Family of Companies announce Wednesday that Christina Reckard has been hired as vice president of marketing. According to a release, Reckard (pictured) will lead all aspects of marketing for Southwestern, a locally based international conglomerate comprising 20 companies in sales training, financial services, executive coaching and more. The position is not new to the company but has been vacant for months following the departure of Kristi Anderson. Previously, Reckard spent nearly 10 years at Franklin-based Ramsey Solutions overseeing the marketing efforts of that company’s Financial Peace University and SmartDollar programs. Prior to that, Reckard spent more than 10 years with Spring Hill Music Group.
