So far over 2,800 people in Northern Ireland who are clinically housebound have received their first Covid jab. Vaccinating that cohort of patients began on 6 February. They have been receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

The three staff members work at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home on Davis Drive and tested positive earlier this week. They are currently at home quarantining and recovering, said Dustin Wright, senior director of communications at Arbor Memorial Inc., the parent company of Gordon F. Tompkins funeral homes.

Thursday, January 21, 2021 July After hours of planning and lots of hard work, Jayden Spenner of Remsen completed his Eagle Scout project, a flag retirement box located by the VFW Hall in Remsen. Spenner is the eighteen-year-old son of Jeff and Lori Spenner of Remsen. He has three siblings, Olivia (13), Rylie (12), and Faith (10). His hobbies include hunting, archery, camping, boating, and scuba diving. He recently graduated from MMCRU High School on May 17, 2020. He currently works for CMG Construction and plans to attend WITCC for an associate s degree in police science. Remsen Postmaster Helen Kuehl was given many congratulations and well wishes during her Retirement Party, which was held outside behind the Remsen Post Office from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. Kuehl has had an impressive 38+ years career in the Postal Service. She stated, I have 37.5 years in the Postal Service, but with my sick leave, it adds up to 38+. She has served as Postmaster in Remsen for almost seve
