UFC: Reyes vs Prochazka Preview: Light heavyweight title aspirations up in the air

UFC: Reyes vs Prochazka Preview: Light heavyweight title aspirations up in the air Get the scoop on the main card action coming out of UFC Vegas 25, headlined by former title contender Dominick Reyes and former Rizin champion Jiri Prochazka potentially vying for a title shot. Share this story Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC On the heels of potentially the biggest PPV of the year, UFC Vegas 25 has been dwarfed by the immense success of UFC 261. It’s a shame as the main card appears to be one of the better UFC on ESPN cards thus far. It’s possible the winner of the main event between Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka could be fighting for the light heavyweight title in their next contest. The co-main between Cub Swanson and Giga Chikadze looks like it could potentially be FOTY, if it’s possible to predict a FOTY. And while the three other main card fights aren’t as high profile, they are well-matched and appropriately placed on the main card, including an appearance by hard

X-Factor! Some UFC Vegas 25 main card predictions

X-Factor! Some UFC Vegas 25 main card predictions Share this story Per Haljestam-USA TODAY Sports This weekend (Sat., May 1, 2021), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will return to UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, for UFC Vegas 25. After a brief jaunt to Jacksonville, Fla., for UFC 261 one of the most absolutely ridiculous MMA events of all time in my humble opinion we are heading back to a more standard night of action inside the Apex. Fortunately, that doesn’t mean it won’t be a fun show, as the main event between Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka promises fireworks, and the rest of the card is lots of fun.

Pro fighters make their picks for Dominick Reyes vs Jiri Prochazka

In the main event of UFC Vegas 25 on May 1, Dominick Reyes is looking to snap his two-fight losing streak as he battles Jiri Prochazka. Entering the fight, Reyes is a +110 underdog while the former RIZIN champ is a -130 favorite. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro fighters to get their predictions for the scrap. The pros are split on this one but the slight majority lean towards Prochazka picking up his second UFC win. BJPENN.com Fighter Picks Dominick Reyes vs. Jiri Prochazka: Devin Clark, UFC light heavyweight: I think it will be a pretty good fight but I have to go with Dominick Reyes. I think he can drag this fight out and have success in those final three rounds and likely get a finish then.

2021 PFL Light Heavyweight Chris Camozzi: New Beginnings

2021 PFL Light Heavyweight Chris Camozzi: New Beginnings It’s never too late for a fresh start. UFC veteran Chris Camozzi spent a chunk of 2020 outside of a formal training environment. It was a step or step back, to be more accurate that he needed in order to get going in the right direction. Camozzi’s storied career now spans a decade and a half. He made his pro debut when he was 19 years old and went 12-3 through his first 15 outings. He eventually made it onto The Ultimate Fighter in the show’s 11th season. He was only 23 years old at the time, and while he won his fight to get into the house, an injury prevented any further advancement. Camozzi didn’t get to go through the TUF season, but a win on the show’s finale event was enough to secure a UFC roster spot.
