Several booked into LaGrange County Jail
LAGRANGE â Several people were booked into the LaGrange County Jail from Friday, July 16, through Thursday, according to jail records.
Chance Ogle, 25, of the 7400 block of North C.R. 1000W, Orland, was booked Friday, July 16, to serve a sentence relating to an original charge of driving while suspended.
Nicholas Coburn, 35, of the 1600 block of South Road, Garrett, was arrested Friday, July 16, by LaGrange County police on a warrant charging failure to appear for court relating to original charges of resisting and possession of marijuana.
Bradley Stager, 23, of the 3600 block of Franklin Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan, was arrested Friday, July 16, by LaGrange County police on a temporary custody order.
US 51 near Beloit closed due to truck fire

BELOIT, Wis. A truck fire has led to lane closures on Highway 51 near Beloit on Wednesday night, according to Rock County dispatch.
The state Department of Transportation said the incident happened at around 9:50 p.m. As a result, all lanes have been blocked in both directions from Town Line Road to Sunny Lane.
Closures are expected to last for about two hours.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Department has also responded to the scene.

MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ONT. A 44-year-old man has died in an industrial accident on Townline Road in Tillsonburg, Ont. Emergency crews responded to Marwood International just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday for a serious workplace incident. Oxford County OPP say an employee died after he became trapped under a steel coil. He has been identified as James Klein, 44, of Norfolk County. Marwood International is an auto parts manufacturer. The Ministry of Labour has been called in and is investigating.
