Texarkana Man Added to Texas 10 Most Wanted List
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Marques Jujuan Thompson, 20, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and capture of Thompson. He is wanted for murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm, battery, stalking/intimidation and a probation violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
According to the DPS website, Thompson has been wanted since August 2020, when he violated his probation and absconded from his last known address in Texarkana, Texas. Since then, Thompson is suspected of being involved in multiple shootings, including a fatal one that occurred on Jan. 12 in Texarkana. In addition to Texarkana, Thompson also has ties to the Dallas Metroplex area.
Fugitive on Texas 10 Most Wanted List Wanted for Murder
The Texas Department of Public Safety is warning the public about a man on the Texas 10 Most Wanted List, and a reward is being offered for his capture. 20-year-old Marques Jujuan Thompson of Texarkana is suspected of being involved in multiple shootings.
The Texarkana Police Department first issued a warrant for Thompson s arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for his alleged involvement in that shooting, but a day later on Jan. 12., they also issued a warrant for murder after someone passed away from their injuries sustained in the shooting.
California bank First Foundation to move holding company HQ to Dallas Dom DiFurio, The Dallas Morning News
California-based First Foundation, Inc. will move its holding company to Dallas in the first half of 2021, according to company executives.
The company announced its intention to expand into Texas on a call with investors Tuesday citing “strong opportunities” for growth in Texas for the company’s banking and wealth management business.
“The Dallas Metroplex is one of the largest markets for multifamily lending and the diversity of businesses there makes it a strong fit for us,” CEO Scott Kavanaugh told investors, adding that the company’s board recently approved the move.

Construction of Bois dâArc Lake, northeast of Bonham, is nearing completion while Lake Ralph Hall, northeast of Ladonia, gained final approval in early 2020 with work expected to begin in early 2021.
