Cesar Soto, 33, of Lewisville died in a crash Friday in Weatherford, Grapevine police said Tuesday. Police said they learned of the crash Monday and waited until Soto’s family had been notified before announcing his death. Soto had been sought on an aggravated-robbery warrant after the May 13 incident. The driver, whose name was not released, was dropping of a passenger at the Amli apartments in the 400 block of Dallas Road when the man attacked him and drove off in his Toyota Camry.
