2021 Porsche Panamera PHEVs Gets 17-18 Miles Of EPA EV Range

The new 2021 Porsche Panamera plug-in hybrid family has received new, improved EPA range and efficiency ratings, thanks mainly to higher battery capacity.
The family consists of a total of nine models, just like in the previous year:

What s it like?
As with all E-Hybrids models, the Turbo S springs noiselessly to life. In the all-electric E-Power and Hybrid modes, the car will always start off on battery power alone, using just the 134bhp motor. Performance is adequate rather than, ahem, electrifying, but there’s more than enough muscle to keep up with the flow of traffic and in E-Power it’ll carry on accelerating to 84mph.
This whisper-quiet, easy-going approach is enhanced by impressive rolling refinement, the air springs soaking up bumps with a supple aplomb that’s not far off a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Only really nasty potholes elicit an intrusive thud from the suspension, but given the car rides on 21in alloys, that’s to be forgiven.
Price as tested (plus on-road costs)

Rivals? The BMW X5M offers brutal performance in a similar-sized package, but asks for a fair bit more than the Porsche with its $212,900 sticker price.
Closer to home, the Audi SQ7 at $162,500 is more affordable than the GTS, but its 4.0-litre turbo V8 is diesel-powered and that might not resonate so well with some buyers.
Staying in the Audi garage, the RS Q8 is powered by the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as found in the Cayenne GTS, albeit with a more aggressive tune and a faster 0–100km/h time. But, it’s also more expensive at $208,500. Those tenths-of-a-second don’t come cheap.
