Brooklyn Nine-Nine this time. On Feb. 11, NBC revealed that the police comedy will be coming to an end during the 2021-2022 season. Originally airing on Fox, the show ran for five seasons before being cancelled and picked up for a sixth season by NBC in 2019. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been delayed due to the lockdowns enforced by the worldwide health crisis, pushing the show back from the current television season to the 2021 – 2022 season. When the series returns for its final season, it will do so for a 10-episode run, three episodes shorter than the previous season.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine was created by Dan Goor and Michael Shur which followed a group of NYPD detectives in Brooklyn’s ninety-ninth precinct. The series stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller.

Washington: The popular sitcom ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ is coming to an end after season eight, which will premiere later this year.
As per E! News, NBC made the announcement regarding the series coming to an end on Thursday. No specific premiere date has been revealed yet, but the show has returned to production.
The creator and showrunner of the sitcom Dan Goor offered the most perfect statement about the show’s ending. Goor said, “I’m so thankful to NBC and Universal Television for allowing us to give these characters and our fans the ending they deserve.”
