In Framingham, new tools to limit the spread of COVID-19 in schools
FRAMINGHAM Framingham schools will offer free voluntary COVID-19 PCR testing for in-person staff beginning this month, according to a school announcement.
Weekly testing will be available to teachers and other educators or staff members who are coming into school buildings. In a School Committee meeting, Superintendent of Schools Robert Tremblay said the increased testing will help give teachers and families more confidence. People who are in our schools every day will have this opportunity to do this COVID testing, he said. It will give us a real indication as to whether or not we are seeing any in-school transmission.
