I don’t even know why we consider such an option that much energy and level of cost would make much more sense to consider an atomic power plant preferably a modern design that includes a breeder reactor in order to burn off the waste if we actually built a site with two breeder reactors we could get rid of stored waste in the state and possibly get some other states to get rid of taking the problem from hundreds of thousands of years too hundreds of years
@Diane Can you tell NON readers what the impact will be to our bills if plant is not built? I’ve been told our bills will already be skyrocketing once windfarms are operational. CT needs to understand both sides of the equation in order to make an intelligent decision. Can you also let us know what emissions are being released from China and India? What is Wilton group doing to fight that? We’re all for clean energy but minor details like the cost involved seems to be missing from the discussion.
