Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the death of a woman on the Northside.
The discovery was made at an apartment on North William Street on Saturday evening.
The body of the deceased has been removed to Dublin City Mortuary for a post mortem examination.

The state forestry agency, Coillte, is reminding the public of the dangers of outdoor fires this Easter bank holiday weekend.
Between 2016 and 2020, almost 6,000 acres of forest has been damaged by fires, with 584 forest fires on Coillte lands over the same period.
Coillte explains that around 99% of forest fires are started by people, whether it s barbeques or unattended fires in people s back gardens.
With warmer and dryer Spring weather, dead grasses, gorse and heather become much more flammable and fires can spread quickly from open lands to forests.

It comes after a Consultant at the hospital left with prepared vaccine doses for their family.
Throughout the evening of Friday, January 8th, GPs and other local health workers arrived at the Coombe Hospital to receive a vaccine dose.
After half eight, the queue in the car park thinned out unexpectedly with a number of doses already diluted.
There were 19 doses drawn up which had to be used inside six hours.

Gardaí at Kevin Street investigating a shooting on the Southside have charged two of the men arrested in connection with the incident.
Two men, aged in their mid and late 20s, were charged in connection with the shooting of a teenager on Eugene Street on February 24th.
A 17-year-old was ambushed and shot as he entered a taxi on the night in question.
Five arrests were initially made, including one juvenile, following investigations into the attempted murder at the end of February.
