A SENIOR associate of slain Drogheda feud gangsters Robbie Lawlor and Richard Carberry was among three people arrested yesterday over their roles in the disposal of the remains of a murdered 17-year-old.
The teenager, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was killed and chopped up in January 2020 as part of the bloody dispute in Co Louth.

The Irish Sun can reveal that the senior suspect, aged in his 40s, was lifted when officers swooped on his plush south Dublin property yesterday morning.
Gardaí Make Arrests In Connection With Murder By Ciaran Halpin Gardaí investigating the murder of a young man in Drogheda in January, 2020 have arrested three men following searches conducted in Dublin this morning.
The searches, conducted by Mountjoy Detective Unit, were carried out at a number of premises in Dublin this morning.
Following these searches, three men, aged in their 20s, 40s and 50s, were arrested and are currently detained at a number of Dublin Garda stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Three suspects have been arrested for questioning about the murder of a teenager in Co Louth last year.
The latest arrests in the investigation were made on Monday morning and come as one man is already before the courts in relation to the killing.
The murder victim, who was a juvenile, cannot be named for legal reasons. In a statement Garda Headquarters, Phoenix Park, Dublin, said his murder occurred in Drogheda in January of last year.

The searches - which were conducted by members of Mountjoy Detective Unit, were carried out at a number of premises in the city.
Three men aged in their 20s, 40s and 50s, were arrested.
They are currently being detained for questioning at a number of Dublin Garda stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Children who have died as a result of murder or manslaughter will be allowed to be publicly named from this Friday.
