The East Lampeter Township amusement park, located at 2249 Lincoln Highway East, opened for the first time this season on Saturday morning.
âItâs nice to see so many smiling faces in the park again, whether theyâre behind masks or not,â said Jeffrey Eisenberg, the parkâs Director of Marketing. âWe realize that this is an indicator of a return to normalcy.â
The park had been open last year from mid-July until Labor Day in what Eisenberg called a âsignificantly abbreviated seasonâ due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Holiday-specific events, like Happy Hauntings and Dutch Winter Wonderland, also had to be scrapped.
