A TWENTY six year old woman from Lerwick is the first in Shetland to be ordered to contribute towards a new restitution fund in aid of police officers who have been assaulted while carrying out their duties. Claire Antonio, of Burgh Road, previously pleaded guilty to a total of four offences including threatening behaviour and assaulting police officers at various locations in Lerwick on 25 March. 14 of 14Adverts Antonio also admitted behaving in a threatening manner at the Gilbert Bain Hospital on 26 March, including claiming to be infected with Covid-19. At Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday Sheriff Ian Cruickshank put Antonio under supervision for 15 months and issued a restitution order of £250 for each of the two assaults.
