KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 65 victims are still being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur following the LRT mishap on Monday (May 24) night.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said 29 men and 36 women, all passengers, were still being treated at the hospital for various injuries. A total of 59 victims are locals while six are foreigners, he said on Tuesday (May 25).
ACP Mohamad Zainal also urged all parties to give the task force investigating the cause the space to do their job and not to speculate.
“Allow the task force that was established to investigate. At the same time the public are urged not to speculate and make assumptions that can cause disharmony, fear and public unrest,” he said.
