Town of Davidson Seeks Public Input on Kincaid Trail Extension
PRESS RELEASE
The Town of Davidson is seeking public comments starting today and continuing through Friday, June 3rd. The Town of Davidson proposes to construct a segment of the planned Kincaid Trail Extension from the Cornelius town limit, north to Vernon Drive along the South Prong West Branch Rocky River. This segment is part of the Kincaid Trail which will connect the existing South Prong Rocky River Greenway to Main Street. The trail will consist of a 10-ft concrete path.
Public participation and feedback are an integral component to the project development process, and by sharing ideas and concerns, residents can help refine projects to provide appropriate transportation solutions in Davidson community.
Greenville GOP voters select nominees for council

GREENVILLE Greenville voters on Tuesday selected three GOP candidates as nominees for Greenville City Council.
Incumbent Council Members Jeff Whitaker and Doug Schmidt will be joined by candidate Brian Brown as the Republican nominees for three “at large” seats on council, to be determined in the Nov. 2, 2021, general election.
Incumbent Councilman Doug Wright failed to receive a nomination, falling short with 19.97 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results posted by the Darke County Board of Elections.
Whitaker received 28.88 percent of the vote, while Schmidt and Brown received 25.64 and 25.51 percent, respectively.

The changes support Superior’s expansion in Hutchinson with the relocation of its Richmond, Virginia, manufacturing facility.
Mark Yates has been promoted to National Sales Manager, Watertube Boiler Division. As a key part of the Hutchinson leadership team, he will oversee growth strategies for the watertube boiler business, with responsibility for customer development, sales representative network support and marketing initiatives.
Yates previously was Assistant Operations Manager for Superior’s Hutchinson boiler manufacturing operations. He is experienced in technical sales, business development and project management that involves key customers and accounts. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
