The End recently concluded its first season on screens, with plenty of praise for its story around euthanasia and the performances from cast including Harriet Walter, Frances O’Connor, Noni Hazlehurst and more.
There’s no word yet on whether there will be more of the co-production with Sky UK, but writer Samantha Strauss recently told
TV Tonight she has more in store if it is picked up for a second season.
“This story definitely has the capacity to keep going. Our fingers are crossed,” she said.
“These are characters that definitely haven’t left me. They all have more life in them after 10 episodes. We would love to do a second season. We have mapped out a second season and had a really terrific Writers’ Room on it but then COVID happened.”
