THE richest person in Northern Ireland is Lady Ballyedmond, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
As deputy chairwoman of Norbrook Laboratories, Lady Ballyedmond (Mary Haughey) is ranked as the 135th richest person in the UK, with an overall wealth of £1.247 billion.
She is the only billionaire from the north among 171 across the UK.
However, figures released in the list reveal her family s wealth has decreased by £98m within the last two months.
The 73-year-old inherited her late husband Eddie s veterinary pharmaceutical firm after he died in a helicopter crash in 2014. He founded the company in 1969.
ZAYN Malik has once again been named in the top 10 richest young musicians in the world. The East Bowling-born singer is worth a cool £36 million, which puts him in joint seventh place with fellow pop star Dua Lipa in the Sunday Times Rich List. There is no change in the rankings from last year for Zayn, who was seventh with £36m in 2020. However, the 28-year-old is lagging behind former One Direction bandmate, Harry Styles, who is in second on £75m. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has reportedly increased his wealth by £20m to a total of £220m, landing him the top spot on the young musicians Rich List for the second year running.
Jamie Redknapp is preparing himself for a whole lot of nappy changing and bottle making come winter following the news that he and his girlfriend Frida Andersson Lourie are expecting their first child together.
The couple met 18 months ago through mutual friends and are head over heels in love having spent every second of lockdown together.
While Jamie dated a few people since splitting up from his wife of 20 years, Louise Redknapp, back in 2018, there was nothing serious on the cards until the stars aligned to bring Frida into his life.
The pair are said to be besotted with one another and over the moon to be starting a family together.
