Businessman Satar Dada has confirmed to
Sunday Standard that his house in Extension 11 in Gaborone Central is being used as a vaccine site.
He said the venue had not been publicly advertised.
This has created suspicions of a special dispensation.
Dada who is also a ruling party treasurer and financier said he donated the venue to Botswana government.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Wellness Kempes Ebineng is expected to address the nation on the matter tomorrow.
The venue started to attract attention after it was found over the long weekend that Botswana’s business and political elite were filing in to get their their jabs from the venue.

Sunday Standard indicates that the Botswana Football Association (BFA) top brass is allegedly beginning the process of searching for a new coach, preferably locals.
It has been alleged that some of the names amongst the local heavyweights includes Orapa United coach Mogomotsi Mpote, former BDF XI Lesika Keatlholetswe and tactician Daniel Nare.
With allegations rife, it is said that the BFA is likely to prefer a technical team of reputable local coaches with qualifications and history of winning trophies.
A source said despite the talk at infant stage, the changes may effect just ahead of the COSAFA championships expected to be held in July 2021.
