raid being carried out at an entertainment outlet in Muar during a press conference held at the state police headquarters in Johor Baru.
JOHOR BARU: Johor police issued compounds worth a staggering RM1.1mil against patrons of an entertainment outlet in Muar for violation of Covid-19 SOP.
The 109 patrons – 81 males and 28 females aged between 17 and 52 – had failed to observe physical distancing in the premises.
State police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said they raided the outlet at 10.45pm on Saturday and inspected the patrons.
“All tested negative for drugs. However, due to their failure to observe physical distancing, they were issued with the RM10,000 compound each, ” he said at a press conference here yesterday.
