The Mobile City Council will have a new look after the August city elections after a third longtime council member announced plans not to seek re-election.
Councilwoman Bess Rich, who was first elected to the District 6 seat in 1993 representing a section of west Mobile, announced at the end of Tuesday’s council meeting that she will not seek another four-year term in office.
