Markelle Fultz to a three-year rookie scale extension worth $50MM, agent
Raymond Brothers tells ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (Twitter link). The deal, which will begin in 2021/22 after Fultz earns $12.3MM this season, includes a third-year team option, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic (Twitter link).
Philadelphia traded up in the 2017 draft to select Fultz, but he was limited to 33 games in a season-and-a-half with the Sixers, as he dealt with a troublesome shoulder injury and struggled to regain the form that made him the top prospect in his class.
The Orlando Magic have now played two preseason games.
Josh Robbins joins the show and he talks about how the team has looked in those games, how the rookies have fared, and what the team is expecting this year from Markelle Fultz.

Running Backs
Lock him up.
Gaskin’s return to the Dolphins’ starting lineup has picked up right where he left off.
I just noticed that KC is 30th in rush DVOA. Hello just got 5 touches inside the 5 yard line last game, had 73 carries and 14 targets over his last 4 games and is $5600 Myles Gaskin.
While Hodge’s tweet references Draftkings pricing, the meat and potatoes are what we are focusing on here for Gaskin. Priced as the RB25 in what should be a high scoring game (current total is set at 50.5), Gaskin surely will be utilized this weekend. Last week in his return he accounted for 71% of the offensive snaps which is right around where he was for the first seven games of the season. He is also a candidate for some severe positive regression.
