Two More Musical Guests Announced for Kroger Symphony on the Prairie
INDIANAPOLIS Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Nauti Yachtis featuring Josh Kaufman have been added to the 2021 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.
Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is scheduled for July 23 and 24. Together for nearly 30 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues its decades-long mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music.
The Nauti Yachtis featuring Josh Kaufman are set for August 13. They’re sure to bring a smile to your face as you sail back to the 1980s with music from Hall & Oates, Christopher Cross, Jackson Browne, and more. They will be joined by Josh Kaufman, the 2014 winner of Season 6 of “The Voice”.

Christina Grimmie’s vast army of Twitter followers did more than simply keep its favorite Team Adam member in the competition. It also helped NBC’s “The Voice” set the all-time record for Tweets during a broadcast or cable television series.
According to NBC, Tuesday’s “The Voice” was the subject of 1.92 million Tweets. That figure ranks as the largest since Nielsen began tracking Twitter TV activity in the fall of 2011.
Always a popular social media subject, “The Voice” gains significantly more conversation for its “Instant Save” element, which invites users to Tweet support for the contestant they would like to see saved from elimination.
Outdoor venues continue to multiply in 2021.
Last year, arts groups scrambled to fashion stages within mere weeks as the coronavirus pandemic brought indoor entertainment to a halt. Their efforts were worth it audiences snapped up tickets to events that allowed social distance, fresh air and fun.

On Wednesday, critically acclaimed folk duo Mandolin Orange made up of Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz who went from performing in coffee shops to headlining music festivals shared some huge news that they are now called Watchhouse. While Anais Mitchell loved it, Milk Carton Kids Joey Ryan s reaction was even more notable: Damn, can we do this too??
Alongside the name change announcement, Watchhouse also unveiled new single and video Better Way, produced by Josh Kaufman (The National, Bonny Light Horseman, Taylor Swift). New Commute says the new track follows the smoke from outsider artists like Bitchin Bajas, Bing & Ruth and the Grateful Dead and American Songwriter calls it a soothing centerpiece to what may be their best work to-date.
