Jose Mourinho was sacked as manager of Tottenham Hotspur on Monday six days before the League Cup final.
Tottenham confirmed in a statement that the Portuguese had left along with his coaching staff. The Club can today announce that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra have been relieved of their duties, it said.
The news comes the morning after the London club said it was one of 12 clubs forming a breakaway European Super League.
Former Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager Mourinho had been in charge of 86 games at the club, having replaced Mauricio Pochettino in November 2019.

A statement from the club read: The Club can today announce that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra have been relieved of their duties.
Chairman Daniel Levy said: Jose and his coaching staff have been with us through some of our most challenging times as a Club. Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic. On a personal level I have enjoyed working with him and regret that things have not worked out as we both had envisaged. He will always be welcome here and we should like to thank him and his coaching staff for their contribution.

Tottenham on Monday just six days before they play Manchester City in the League Cup final as the Portuguese boss paid the price for a turbulent campaign.
Mourinho, 58, was dismissed after only 17 months in charge, even though he could have led the club to their first silverware since 2008.
Tottenham have been struggling in their bid to qualify for the Champions League via a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Spurs are currently seventh, five points behind fourth placed West Ham, and suffered a shock Europa League last-16 exit against Dinamo Zagreb. The club can today announce that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff have been relieved of their duties, a Tottenham statement said.

Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Tottenham after just 17 months in charge.
The Portuguese replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs manager in November 2019 and guided the club to sixth in the Premier League last season.
They are currently seventh, having picked up two points from their past three league games, and were knocked out of the Europa League in March.
Spurs face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on 25 April.
On Sunday, Tottenham were one of six Premier League clubs to announce they were joining a new European Super League, but it is not related to Mourinho s sacking.
