AAMI, NAB and Telstra partner with SBS for Mardi Gras coverage 2021

SBS will be airing the 2021 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras with support from broadcast partners AAMI, NAB and Telstra.
SBS will be broadcasting to audiences across Australia and around the world, live and free from 6pm AEDT on 6 March on SBS On Demand (geo-block removed for viewers internationally), and on SBS and NITV at 7:30pm.
Drag icon Courtney Act, comedy superstar Joel Creasey, Network 10 Presenter Narelda Jacobs and stand-up comedian Zoë Coombs Marr will be returning to host this year’s coverage. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual parade will be taking place in The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) instead of along Oxford Street.

In a first, this year’s event will be held safely at the Sydney Cricket Ground. SBS begins first coverage Live at SBS On Demand (geo-block removed for viewers internationally), with the full parade broadcast on SBS and NITV, produced by Blink TV.
Other SBS platforms VICELAND and World Movies also celebrate over the next month.
