Season series presented by Purina: Blues lead 4-2
The St. Louis Blues will host the Minnesota Wild for a two-game set to wrap up the 2020-21 regular season this week at Enterprise Center.
The first game is Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The Blues are locked into the fourth playoff position in the West, but the Wild still have something to play for. If Minnesota can win their final two games against the Blues, they could still claim second place in the division (and home-ice advantage in the first round) if Colorado is unable to beat the Los Angeles Kings in their final two games.

Joel Eriksson Ek s parents never miss a Wild game.
Puck drop is usually in the middle of the night in Sweden, like 2 or 3 a.m., but Clas and Anna either stay up or catch the action first thing in the morning.
What they have seen this season is Joel at his finest. You re proud, Clas Eriksson said. You re glad that he is doing good.
A first-round draft pick as a defense-first center, Eriksson Ek has transformed into a reliable goal scorer, graduating from supporting cast to headliner while discrediting projections that pigeonholed him into a depth role. We wanted to see him take the next step in the offensive part of the game, and he s done that, Wild General Manager Bill Guerin said. Meanwhile, he hasn t sacrificed his 200-foot game doing so.

He s not getting out of the goalie s eyes. He s getting in his eyes. But he still has that intelligent mind-set to know when to pop out for a bang-bang play low to the slot or low to the back door. He gets it. He s been very valuable in that spot.
Bonino has roved on the power play throughout his career, lining up along the half wall, in the middle and at the front of the net. The Wild has used him as a screen, and he s had a knack for it.

With a week remaining in the regular season, the Wild and Vegas Golden Knights will tangle one final time on Wednesday night at Xcel Energy Center.
The game comes on the heels of a memorable third-period comeback by Minnesota, one which saw the Wild overcome a two-goal deficit by scoring three unanswered goals - including two in the final two minutes of regulation - in a 6-5 win on Monday.
The win moved Minnesota to within four points of the first-place Knights in the West Division and provided the Wild with a glimmer of hope should it win in regulation again on Wednesday.
