1 person in critical condition after nine-vehicle collision in Hesperia ends in park and ride

Victorville Daily Press One driver was critically injured Thursday morning in a nine-vehicle collision that authorities say occurred when a semi-trailer hit another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 395 and Joshua Street in Hesperia. The semi then collided into a 2002 Pontiac that had been traveling west on Joshua Street. The impact of the collision sent both the Freightliner and Pontiac in a southwesterly direction until they entered a park and ride located on the southwest corner of the intersection and hit seven other vehicles that sustained minor to major damage.
