YUKON, Oklahoma -
A Yukon man is in custody in connection with dozens of storage unit break-ins in the Yukon area since early June.
Oklahoma City police arrested Joseph Tucker around 4:20 a.m. Monday at a storage unit facility on North Mustang Road.
A security guard found Tucker inside of a unit after he allegedly bent the bottom of the roll-up doors. The guard held Tucker at gun point using a pepper ball gun until an officer arrived.
According to an arrest report, Tucker told the officer he only broke into the one unit, and “was homeless and was just looking for food.” There were nine other units with damaged doors similar to the one where Tucker was found, Officer Justin Walters wrote.
