CHI Saint Joseph Health announced the selection of Anthony A. Houston as chief executive officer for the Kentucky health system, which includes Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. Houston, who also will serve as president of St. Joseph Hospital and St. Joseph East in Lexington, will begin in the new role April 5. He is the president and chief operating officer for CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tennessee. “I have worked with Tony for several years, and am very pleased that he is the candidate of choice selected by the Saint Joseph board of directors,” said Larry Schumacher, CommonSpirit Health southeast CEO. “His background and progressive experience in health care for more than 20 years, as well as his commitment to the mission of Catholic health care, will provide the perfect leadership for CHI Saint Joseph Health.”
