She wrote: “Spot the difference.. delighted to take part in an interview on BBC breakfast this morning with my colleague.

In response, Dan apologised and said he had spoken to his boss about the error, but admitted he was “not sure what happened”.
“We are normally very tight on titles of guests,” he added.

When quizzed about the rumours, Neil said: “You’re always going to have people saying things, we dance up close together, we’re good friends, and you even get fans who are like, ‘But oh I do hope you get together’ and it’s just one of those things that happen.
“You turn around and just smile and get on with what you’re doing.”
The dancer said he is still in contact with Alex and regularly exchanges messages with her about football. We talk all the time. She’s nice and busy, I’m always happy when I see her doing well with stuff, she knows it.

What she didn’t enjoy, Denise said she struggled to sing behind her mask.
“The worst part for me was just the costume, you can’t really hear yourself when you’re singing,” she added.
“You all sing live… you feel like afterwards, ‘I wish I could’ve done it again and sounded better’.
