Care home heroes in Maryport are going above and beyond for residents and our readers celebrated their efforts. Staff at Granville Court Care Home are amongst the care staff in Cumbria that are going to great lengths for those in need during the pandemic. Staff at the home are isolating with the residents during the third lockdown to ensure they are always there to help. A spokesperson for the team said: “We continue to be free from Covid-19 and thanks to Maryport Health Services, we have all received our vaccinations.” Readers of the News & Star were full of praise for carers at Granville Court and others like them, giving thanks for their service to the elderly.
